Dash Basket: A New Crochet Pattern

Reader

I have a new pattern for you today. Ever since I made the Winthrop Basket, I get lots of comments about it being too hard to make. I have been wanting to make another option that uses the same yarn, and size, but easier stitches.

The Dash Basket is the end result of my brain storming. It is a mostly single crochet project with just a little bit of texture that is easy to accomplish. I'm using Lion Brand Rewind yarn for this basket, just like with the Winthrop Basket. I love using this tape yarn for baskets. It makes the baskets indestructible, and easy to clean. I have them all over my house. I have one in the bathroom that keeps all the hair accessories together. I have a few in my yarn cupboard to keep projects together. I will use them as gift bags and of course they make great Easter Baskets!

Where to get this pattern

This pattern will be in my Ravelry Store. As always, if you would like to purchase through another option like Etsy, or love crafts just let me know and I can get a listing up for you.

Some of you might be saying "Hey, I thought a knitting pattern would be next." I hear you. I have just had a lot of bad ideas lately when it comes to knitting. I thought they were great in my head, but when I made the sample, they just didn't work. And I want to make sure I am only putting designs out that are worth making. I promise there is new stuff coming.

Reader My summer came to an end this week with the start of school for my girls. My summer was jam packed with camp, summer school and visiting family and friends. We were really blessed with some great weather, and my garden has really been showing off, especially the last few weeks. Just check out those blooms. And in the middle of it all my newest pattern to share with you. It has been so fun watching the butterflies come by. I have also seen lots of humming birds, humming bird moths, and...
