Ice Fractals Cowl: A New Knitting Pattern

Reader

It doesn't seem possible that the cold weather is just around the corner. I wanted to get this pattern out to you early so you could have it finished before you really needed it.

This is a stranded knit pattern with a chart and instructions to make this beautiful cowl. This time I decided to make it with a DK weight yarn for the extra squish and warmth and I'm so glad that I did. It uses 200 grams of yarn. Unfortunately it uses 110 grams of the background color so you need 3 skeins total, but that just means you will have lots leftover for a hat.

You can find this new pattern in my Ravelry shop

Happy Crafting, Julia

Say hello to Hyacinth Scarf. Close up of the Hyacinth Scarf When I first started to work on this pattern all the way back in January I had all the plans to make it have the same texture as my Hyacinth Hat. With all the bad news my mind kept wandering and I kept forgetting to add the crossover row. I thought, "well if I'm...

Reader Designs by Diligence is 14 years old this week. I can hardly believe I have been creating things for you for that long. What a joy its been from my first design appearing in Crochetvolution to now. I wanted to celebrate by offering a free knitting pattern just for this week. Restful Hat In my quest for using up the yarn I have. I decided to use up some mini skeins. I also added a lace weight mohair, and the result was the softest 2 tone hat that I have thoroughly enjoyed wearing this...
